Our Commitment
CareVoice is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
As a healthcare documentation tool, we understand the importance of accessibility for care professionals who may have diverse needs and abilities.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
Accessibility Features
CareVoice includes the following accessibility features:
- Voice Input: Our core voice-to-text feature enables hands-free documentation, reducing reliance on keyboard and mouse input.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements can be accessed using keyboard controls.
- Screen Reader Support: We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support screen reader users.
- Colour Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus Indicators: Clear visual indicators show which element currently has keyboard focus.
- Mobile Responsive: Our application works across devices of different sizes and input methods.
Known Limitations
We are aware of some accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Some older PDF exports may not be fully accessible to screen readers
- Complex data visualisations in analytics may have limited alternative text
We are committed to addressing these issues in upcoming releases.

CareVoice assesses the accessibility of our application through the following methods:

- User feedback from care professionals with disabilities
